How to type up your flashcards

I tend to use Quizlet to make my flashcards - but if I want a physical copy, I always type them up rather than handwriting them as it saves so much time :) 1. I use Microsoft publisher, but you could use any programme with a landscape page that you can insert a table (I think Libre office is a free alternative to Microsoft) 2. First I insert a 2x2 table so my page is divided into 4, you could do it larger or smaller depending your desired size of your flash cards

3. I make a very light grey light to outline my table so I can see where I am cutting them out 4. Then I simply type out my content and colour it! I have found the perfect font size for me to be size 14-15 as this way the font is big enough for me to look at the flash card and remember phrases but it’s not too big so I can still fit a decent amount of content on it 5. You can do them double sided, this is a bit more complicated (let me know if anyone is interested in this), I did this for a while but it makes it more difficult when cutting at I tended to cut bits off from the reverse side often 6. I now use a guillotine to cut them into 4 along the grey lines - the guillotine I used was £7.99 from Wilko but I’m sure they are sold in quite a few places 7. The binder clips I use are rose gold and are from home bargains- I recommend dividing them into sub topics as if you have a huge pile of cards for your whole subjects, it’s less likely to will revise from the, altogether I hope this helped, I highly recommend giving this a try if you want to save time and try learning from typed work rather than writing! I still write my notes but find typing easier for slight condensing and I can skim through them easily. Please ask if you have any questions! 💛

This process of structuring and breaking down information is just as crucial in digital marketing to AI, where we need to present complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner for our audiences. Whether it’s creating engaging content or building out ad strategies, being able to simplify information and make it accessible is key to success. Looking forward to applying some of these techniques to my marketing campaigns!
