Self-care challenges

1. Create a list of everything you would LIKE to do in a month, but things that you DON'T ‘have to do’, this may be as simple as relaxing, or maybe doing yoga every morning. As much as I love to do lists, the things on them are often ‘chores’ and not enjoyable tasks, and I think it’s just as important to schedule in things that you enjoy doing! 2. Message a friend that you haven’t spoken to in the last few months, ask them how they’re doing and tell them anything exciting that’s happened to you, and maybe arrange to meet them over the summer for a catch-up! (this post was written a loongg time ago when we didn't have to worry about COVID... obviously follow COVID restrictions!) :) 3. Every day, write down one thing that made you laugh, and at the end of the month you can come back to it and read all of the funny things that have happened in July, hopefully it will bring a smile back to your face :)

4. Make a vision board, put pictures of things that you want to achieve in the future, and quotes that really motivate you to work hard, you could also include pictures to remind yourself of how far you have already come- if you don’t have the materials to make a vision board, you could use something like Publisher to make an online version 5. Drink warm lemon water every morning, not only does this have amazing benefits, I just think it makes you feel more ready for the day as it helps to wake you up and feel refreshed! 6. Try a new herbal tea, I often find that I love many herbal teas that I didn’t think I would like at all, it might end up being your new favourite - ideas are ginger, buttermint, mango, vanilla chai, cherry and fennel! 7. Try yoga or stretching every night, this will help you to relax clear your mind, but I’ve also found that doing stretches allows me to sit at my desk for longer periods of time without that achy feeling, so is definitely worth a shot if you don’t already ✨ It's easy to forget self-care when you are busying studying, working or even just out enjoying your free time! If you set time aside to do things to look after yourself, you will naturally get into good habits that will benefit you long-term x
